Relevate Community Face2Face events

Purpose of the Face2Face events:

At the difference of our online networking events, Relevate Community Face2Face is holds once a month at the moment. It allows our members of a certain region to connect in real life, network and gather while keeping in mind what differentiate us from the traditional networking event, no forced sales pitch, business card etc. This meetup is a fantastic opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals, share ideas, and network with other members of the Relevate community. Rather than selling, this meetup purpose is to connect the dots.

Creation of a Face2Face event:

*On the long term, we intend to hold Face2Face events fortnightly or even weekly if the momentum can be kept high.

  1. Decide of the event date, it needs to be during weekdays
  2.  our current format is based on a breakfast time of the day from 8am to 9:30am
  3. location need to be decided based on some criteria (easily accessible, not too far/ over 30min driving, propose food and drinks, can welcome large group)
  4. specific day and time of the week need to be refined over time to find what fit the most of our members ( creation of a poll in the community or through email campaign ?)
Publication of the Face2Face event in our different channels:

Once date, time and location is set up, event should be published online for peoples to register, ideally it should be live before the previous event happens so peoples attending are being shared the event by our Relevate Community team and drivers and keep a momentum and high attendance rate.

We want to keep a consistent message across our different registrations channels, same description can be posted in each of them, for reference check our Relevate Community Face2Face event in the community.

In order to increase our attendance, we post and accept registrations from a numerous of event creation providers:
  1. The Relevate Community event section itself (accessible both to members and online visitors)
  2. Eventbrite
  3. Zoho Backstage
  4. LinkedIn

Promotion of the Face2Face event:

  1. events created in eventbrite, Zoho backstage, are already targeted based on their locations, SEO and don't need much promotion
  2. LinkedIn events need to be manually created and targeted based on locations
  3. Face2Face event created in the Relevate Community circle app is our main registration point, it is promoted on the community feed, in your LinkedIn message, Relevate Community app message, by emails ( through email campaigns via Zoho Campaigns or individual emails ), by SMS campaigns via Sinch Message Media integrated with Zoho CRM
  4. Through phone call, cold calls or customers catch up.

Price of entry:

Currently our Face2Face events are free entry until we build a solid momentum, attendance and engagement. People are free to turn up and just pay for their food and drink.


For who:

This event is targeting business owners, entrepreneurs or solopreneurs and more generally motivated business leaders looking to scale. These peoples value and understand the power of network before all.
We want to keep our identity and don't allow peoples that are there to simply pitch themselves or their dodgy services, hence we have a Ban list.
