Ghosting ......does anyone have any methods of trying to get over the the dreaded ghosting experience ?
Being a little naive , I offered a massive amount of my own time and lifeblood to win a client . They signed my T's and C's ,. T'c and C;'s which probably undersold me. As it was one of my very first clients,the upside was very big for me ....I made sure I downed tools with everything else and spent lots of time generating processes , documents , best practices etc to help get my new client their ideal hires ...I screened huge amounts of hard to get candidates from all across the Eastern seaboard of Aus. Screened the long list to a short list of 7, sat on the interview panel for these interviews where we used my Competency Based Interview framework ( which developed and provided specifically for this process) and the great new was they selected 3 of my list of 7 to hire ....then that was it .!!!!....I have been ghosted ever since ( almost 2 months ago) , struggling to hold on to the talent they "want " to offer a role to and they refuse to give me 5 mins on the phone to tell me why . In the meantime, the CEO who I have been dealing is enjoying lots of self promotion and attention on Linkedin . It's a big chunk of cash for me to wave good bye to so I don't want to fire this client ....but whaddya do ?
I turned off my caller ID and got through last night ....was told I will get feedback this today but I won't hold my breath.
