The AI age is upon us and as the dust settles from initial excitement, what will be left behind is a tool that helps to shortcut things. It can help with contributing to faster decisions, reducing error and improving speed of work. The downside is that there is a rise of generic, vanilla and repetitive content. AI is not quite polished and can not do all of the work by itself. While Chat GPT is big in the mind of most people at the moment, it is just one of the many tools.

AI raises issues of privacy and security. 

Microsoft produced Bing chat and Microsoft copilot which provides secure chat that can surface data from your own systems. Zoho Desk can plug into Chat GPT to provide suggested responses to support tickets, sentiment analysis and more. AI can also help check context and spelling for non native speakers of the language in which the support services are being provided.

It is important to look at data governance so that the AI has up to date reference material to produce recommendations and predictions. You need to constantly retire and/or delete old data. Improve search filters and control retention rules.
