 I have recently decided to make a podcast. I have some questions below that I would appreciate some answers to . 

The focus of my podcast is to talk to successful people who experienced childhood abuse/traumatic experiences and went on to become successful and highly motivated adults. It is aimed primarily at younger people who have experienced negative events in their life and as a result experience a lack self-confidence which could be contributing to them having difficulty developing healthy self-confidence and social skills. 

 

Questions I have about setting up a podcast - 

 

a.       What equipment will I be needing, I'm not sure if it's going to be audio only or if video will be involved? 

                                                                           i.            I would prefer video. 

b.       Is there a way to get start up finance to cover equipment costs etc? 

c.       Will I need to pay people to appear on my podcast? 

                                                                           i.            If the answer is yes is there a standard fee? 

d.       What would be the best way to go about finding people who are willing to be open about their lives and honestly answer questions? 

e.       How would I go about advertising my podcast and getting subscribers?
